We all know what has happening in Ukraine over the past few months, and we felt that as a locally focused business in Saltash, that we might be able to contribute a little to help the suffering of the people in Ukraine.
Wainwright Estate Agents link up with Darrren’s Car in Callington.
Being a local business, wherever possible, we try to link up with other amazing businesses in our area to offer our support and try to help in whatever way we can…this was no exception.
We saw that Darren’s Cars in Callington were looking for contributions that they could then drive these all the way to Ukraine in their available transport. So, with our high street position we thought “we’ve got some space, so why not take in contributions from the kind residents of Saltash”…little did we anticipate the generosity that we’d witness!
Where have the desks gone?
As you can see from the main picture, we received a phenomenal amount of items that were desperately needed by the people of Ukraine…so much so, that our whole office disappeared under your thoughtful contributions, in fact, we filled up two vans from floor to ceiling.
Notes of support.
We also asked that if you’d be so kind to include messages of support on notes to be passed on…having see just a small selection of the notes, it was clear that the heartfelt support was pouring from everyone – it even brought a tear or two to those of us in the office!
